Hails and Farewells

We welcome Anitra as a morning floater, Charmain in the Tadpoles, and Miranda M. as a substitute.  We say a temporary farewell to Hydeia for the summer.  We say a fond farewell to Reagan and wish her well on the birth of her baby boy.

Mara's Memos

Everyone is gearing up for the summer.  Many of our students are leaving us to go to “big school” next school year.  Please come back and visit us!!  We will miss you.  While we will be missing our “big kids” who have outgrown us, we will also be getting in a new group of “little” children for us to help grow up!  This is a crazy transition time for us all.  Please take the time to talk to your child about the upcoming changes, so they are not taken by surprise.  Even if they will be here all summer and next school year, many of their friends will not.

Please let us know at least two weeks in advance, in writing, if your child is leaving us.  We have a short form you can fill out in the office or you can email me your two week notice.  If your child will be in the Threes or Fours next school year and you have already paid the book fees, your child can take the summer off.  You will not have to pay tuition all summer and you will not lose your space for the fall.  However, we can’t guarantee a space for your child to return until our new school year begins on August 16th.  If your child is in the younger classrooms and you choose to remove them for the summer, but want to return in August, your child will go on the waiting list.  We can not guarantee a space for your child and the registration fee must be paid again.  Please see the office with any questions.
